The Allen family's five year old daughter Rachel drown in a pool on Saturday, Aug. 22, 2009. She was on life support for several days and returned to Heavenly Father in the early morning hours of Tues. Aug, 25.
In a loving final tribute to their daughter the Allen's chose to donate Rachel's organs which will help several other families.
An online auction site has been set up to assist the family with funeral and other related costs.
If you would like to particpate, please leave a comment on my blog with your e-mail address and how much you would like to donate (minimum donation of $10 please). The class is limited to either the first 10 people to respond, or the 10 highest bidders. The deadline for this auction is Wednesday, Sept. 9th.
High bidders will be contacted by e-mail on Thursday, Sept. 10th, and will then need to pay their bids through Paypal on the Rachel Allen Memorial Fund site no later than Friday, Sept. 11th. If you are a high bidder selected to participate in the class, directions to my home will be sent to you.
This is a great way to donate to a good cause and learn to save thousands of dollars every year on your grocery bill!
100% of the proceeds will go to the family.
If there is a large response to this class, I will consider adding another date.
