Saving Using the Library

Our family recently discovered a great way to save money. We started visiting our local library for all of our media needs: books, music, and movies.

This is not the library I grew up with where the only movies available were for History Channel specials. They carry any new release movie you can think of. I always request my movies, and other items online. I simply pick them up when they are available. I usually don't have to wait very long for popular titles as they have many available copies.

Since I live in Pinal County, I do have to pay $50/year to use the Queen Creek library, but I have found it is well worth it. Especially considering the $4 rental fee at the video stores.

Go here for the Maricopa County Library page.

We go weekly and my daughter loves it! They also have many events. I saw a sign for a Summer Reading Program sponsored by Target, so I will post when I have more details.
